30 DAY COMIC BOOK MEME Day 4: Favorite female character? Rogue, hands down.  Her powers are versatile and her personality has a wide range of character flaws and charms.  She has a hard time resisting the bad boys she meets, and even after they know she’s toxic, they try anyway, because she’s such a southern belle hottie.  But most of all, I like Rogue because, at some point, she grew up.  She gained control of her power and her life.  After such a rough start, all that absorbing people’s memories and powers, putting your first kiss in a coma, not being able to touch another person, having a super villain/terrorist foster mother, falling for the wrong men (especially Magneto…Anna Marie, what were you thinking?), multiple personalities, inter-dimensional travel…. that is a whole lot of drama.  But through it all, she is an x-man. Her current mission - Protector of Hope.
